Director Statement

This film was inspired by my own childhood as part of a forces family. I've always thought that the families of deployed soldiers have been under-represented as their struggle is a hard one that only few can relate to. Whilst growing up, I also witnessed and endured subtle prejudice from a minority of the 'civilian' populace who had severe misconceptions about forces families. Though this film had no budget and minimal crew, I hope that the message comes across that in forces families, it's not just the soldier him/herself who makes sacrifices or suffers for their nations needs.
