Faith, Hope and Gloves

The Hoppers, a family of five from Mackay, Australia are motorbike enthusiasts with a heart for children living in poverty. After sponsoring Juan David from when he was a young boy, the family travel all the way to the Dominican Republic to meet their now grown Compassion sponsored child.

We discover that the relationship they have been building over 19 years is stronger than ever, and that Juan David’s deep faith over those years has profoundly impacted the Hopper family more than they could have imagined. As the Hopper family discover on their journey, ‘sometimes you have to get to the end of the journey to discover what God has been doing along the way.’ And as we discover, the journey still isn't over. This story shows how the lives of both a sponsored child as well as their supporters lives are changed. The Hopper family (featured) have a unique story although it could well be someone else's story - as one of them says in the film 'the same, but different!'. Massive thanks to the Hopper family who made this film possible.
