Director Biography - JoDa Hodge

JoDa Hodge, a writer, producer, adventurer and rising social media guru, was born on the Bean Hollow Vermont hippie commune to a VW Bug-driving carpenter and a Jersey school teacher. Over Packer Mountain loomed an abandoned military base—commandeered by the Hells Angels.

With degrees in English, Psychology and Communications, JoDa was homeless, working as a WCAX-TV News cameraman, sleeping on the shores of Lake Champlain.

JoDa then bought a Harley with a credit card from the Hardwick funeral home director... eventually riding solo x-country from Beatnik San Francisco back to Vermont. From this near-death trip, JoDa penned his first Harley travel novel, Freedom Road.

Tragedies inspired JoDa to pen eight novels and the multi-award-winning film and television franchise, Departed Harvest—The World's First Solar-powered Hippie Crime Drama.

Departed Harvest won the 2011 American International Screenplay Competition and the 2011 Rhode Island International Screenplay Competition.
