Madeline Puzzo has always been interested in film and the performing arts. She has worked in many genres, such as period, comedy, drama, and documentary. During her time at Point Park University she filled a wide array of production positions including: directing, production design, editing, and sound editing.
Madeline's senior thesis film at Point Park, "Requited," was selected as a finalist in the 2012 Student Academy Awards. "Requited" was also selected for the Point Park University 2012 Cinema Showcase, where it screened at the DGA. Madeline was presented The Achievement in Directing Award by Point Park University Conservatory of Performing Arts. She has also recently finished principal photography of her first feature, "Cardinal Matter."
"Found" is a film meant for the disenfranchised of today's world. By uniting two outsiders and hashing out their demons together one learns that every individual - no matter their background or societal upbringing - is privy to insecurity. It teaches one that in order to get through the harsh realities of life one must simply share and relate to one another. It is by passing down each other's traumas that one can truly grow and gain trust for all living things, including themselves.
