This is the epic of a people's will to and their struggle to improve the land we inhabit. Two territories, Galicia and Portugal and one reality: the common land. IN EVERYONE'S HANDS is a view of these lands and their inhabitants as they pursue that their communal land generate economic, environmental and social wealth for their people. The documentary delves into their life in order to inquire into a reality that is as common as it is unknown. A millenary, unique reality, which must also look toward the future.

Director Biography - Diana Toucedo

Diana Toucedo is a resident film-maker in Barcelona. It studied the degree of cinema in the ESCAC (UAB) in the speciality of setting and the Master of contemporary cinematographic theory in the University Pompeu Fabra.

Between his works like editor stands out the documentary feature film “La noche que no acaba” (All the night long) of the director Isaki Lacuesta, produced by the channel TCM; as well as the film of animation “Chico and Rita” of Fernando Trueba and Javier Mariscal beside the editor Arnau Quiles. “O quinto evanxeo of Gaspar Hauser”(The fifth gospel of Kaspar Hauser) obtained the prize Fipresci 2013 in the Film festival of Rotterdam, a feature film of Alberto Gracia and produced by Zeitun films. Also it has edited “Bugarach” of Nanouk Films in joint production with Filmtank (Germany), WDR, TVE and TV3, rewarded in multiple festivals. “Sonata for violonchelo” has been his last edition of fiction of the director Anna M. Bofarrull.

Like director has realised several documentary and experimental short films showed in film festivals and artistic centres. At present it directs his two first feature films, “Trinta lumes” (Thirty fires) En todas as mans (In everyone's hands) with the support of AGADIC. Also it is educational in the Postgraduate of audiovisual setting IDEC/University Pompeu Fabra, in the Master in theory and practice of the creative documentary of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and in the ESCAC (UB).
