Breaking The Beat: 10 Years Of Bulabeats Records

Ten years ago, frustrated with the direction and dominance of the mainstream music industry, aspiring Irish breakbeat producer Johnny Pluse set up his own independent record label. As Bulabeats begun to garner more attention they were quickly inundated with DJ’s and producers from around the world that had been waiting for a platform and a home for their collective sound.

Director Biography - Noel Smyth, Aidan Farrelly

Aidan Farrelly and Noel Smyth set up Bad Apple Films in 2012 with a focus on delivering quality entertaining film and video productions that have an emphasis on musical elements in Irish society. The collaboration of two visual artists with a working knowledge of the music scene has produced award winning music videos, web-tv series, promotional material and documentary.
