ENTOMOS

Insects and animals move about in semi-rural environments in South Goa, India. Industrial refrigeration, heavy machinery, and sounds of spider brain waves are synthesized in labs in Upstate New York. Physicists use high speed video to study insect resilience when the magnetic field is changed. Mixing visual and sonic footage of the outdoors with highly controlled laboratory spaces creates an unlikely union between two very separate places.
