Director Statement

The rockstar boots a singer-songwriter must wear as he struggles to make his way up in the music business cause blisters and painful ankle disorders that add up over time to destroy the human spirit. As Colin struggles to make his passion a reality, many obstacles come into focus. His is the journey that never ends. As he plans his own going-away-on-tour party, his dream is in full view of coming true until his manager bursts that bubble and tries to instil his own truth about the matter. Colin’s music is unmarketable to the demographic that his manager has in mind. The tour is off. But Colin has gotten into debt purchasing the plane tickets to tour Europe and Japan. Colin is screwed. His music career is over before it even started. Colin is punished by the choices he made in life and must, like Sisyphus, roll the immense boulder of his musical endeavours up the hill only to watch it roll back down and repeat the action forever.
