The Unfortunate Faces of Portia Dupree, is a mystery drama about a man named Mr. Charles Dupree, a notable business man who has spent his life creating ways to bring happiness and joy to others. His greatest achievement is his family and his willingness to do whatever it takes to make them happy! When he and his wife are suddenly called away on a business emergency they leave their oldest, Portia to oversee the affairs of the family and their business. Unfortunately, Portia is not as committed to the family or as loyal to the company as they are and instead seeks only to destroy everything and everyone! When the Duprees’ return they find inexplicable tragedy and chaos! They also find they’ve lost everything including Portia! Now, the police have to muddle through the strange clues left behind at the crime scene to determine who among the unfortunate faces of Portia’s victims would have hated her enough to kill her!

Minister Terri “Bea” Sopher is the Founder and President of Streets of Gold Productions taken from Revelations 21:21. She is an award winning writer of stage plays, movies, music videos and books with over 13 years of production experience. Her most recent music project, “A Savior Who Saves” featuring the incomparable ESTEE, was released March 7, 2015. Other works include “On the Way to Worship” performed by Gospel greats like Pastor Will Hagans, Jr. and many others won second place in the Midwest Regional Music Awards. Her first single, “Still My Child” was nominated for the SFMGA award in 2011 for both Contemporary Female and Song of the Year.
Terri L. Bea was nominated for a Stellar award in 2012 and received a Black Essence award in 2012 for music and production of her Gospel stage play, GRANDMA’S HANDS which was adapted to film in 2009 and won an award in the Los Angeles film festival in 2010. This film was also featured in the Kingdomwood Film Festival 2010 in Atlanta, GA. In 2013 her film, Amberpark—The Beginning, won BEST FEATURE in OHIO in the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival in 2014 and has been seen in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Texas, Florida, California and Pennsylvania. It has earned a spot in the International Christian Film Festival and Kingdomwood Film Festival in 2014. She has written a countless movie screenplays that have won several awards, one of which is MATTIE nominated for an award in the INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN FILM FESTIVAL 2015.
To her credit she adds actress, singer, song-writer, author, and motivational speaker as she seeks to Give God Glory Globally.
Terri L. Bea can be heard performing as the spunky, rambunctious character Grandma Eloise Carter, taken from her stage play, every Sunday morning on KROV 91.7 FM Rhema Gospel Express in San Antonio Texas, giving us an encouraging word as only “grandma” can.
Terri is a proud wife and mother of 4 children she is also a Minister at Word of Life Ministries where she is set under the anointed honorable Pastors, Bishop Randal and Pastor Billie Burton.
