Writer Biography - Jeffrey Russel

Jeffrey Allen Russel is a writer, photographer based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Together with his partner, Lynda Lemberg, they began their creative endeavor by forming a company called Shared Imagination. Their success has been immediate. Between January 2013 and June 2015, they have won over FIFTY screenwriting awards.

Writer Statement

Our first screenplay, GRACE, is an historical drama set in 1830 about a young Scottish woman who risks everything when she joins the struggle to end to the ethnic cleansing of the Gaelic population by the wealthy land owners.
HENRY AND PAULINE, set in the turbulent 1950s and 60s, is a story of ambition, class prejudice and racism and how they forever alter the lives of a poor white boy headed for delinquency and an Afro-American athlete on a path to stardom.
