A graduate of the UK’s prestigious National Film and Television School, Tony Collingwood formed Collingwood O’Hare Entertainment with Christopher O’Hare in 1988 to produce his half-hour animated special called Rarg. Since then, Tony has created, adapted and directed numerous animated television series and specials for children through his company. The company name changed recently to, "Collingwood & Co."
His credit list includes The King’s Beard, The Beano’s Dennis the Menace, Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto!, Harry & his Bucket Full of Dinosaurs and The Secret Show. Tony has won 3 BAFTAs for Best Pre-School Series for Animal Stories, Eddy & the Bear and Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto!, plus a further 2 BAFTAs for The Secret Show in the Best Animation and Best Website/Interactive categories. Tony scooped the BAFTA Best Writer Award for Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto! in 2007

Tony has recently finished a Dr. Seuss series, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! for Citv, PBS and other broadcasters worldwide. He has recently created and directed a new interactive CGI pre-school series for Cbeebies and Sprout called, Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave.
The Writers Guild of Great Britain honoured Tony in 2008 with a special guild award for his Outstanding Contribution to Children’s Writing, in a career spanning over 20 years.
