Jack is a self-taught filmmaker who enjoys pushing the boundaries of science-fiction, thrillers and mystery dramas. Won best director for award winning short film ‘Then I Left’ and the RAW artist filmmaker of the year award in 2012.
Mid way through 2012 he then decided on taking the challenge of making a Feature film called "Hand of Art".
The heart of Hand of Art is about chasing what you want in life. There may be a goal or dream that’s constantly on your mind, but it is scrubbed out by doubt and the expectations of others. No matter how far away it may seem, it’s always attainable.
Artists of all kinds, work long and hard so their doubt never catches up. They put life on the back burner as their creative side takes the lead. They feel alive and are happiest with themselves when they are deep in a task, running fast enough away from doubt.
The approach to the film was meant to mirror the story, Limited time of 25 days to film the story, little money and just a stack of drive to produce our first feature film.
