Lucas Ruderman has just finished his second year at Manhattanville College. He is self designing a major in film directing focusing on both the technical and creative aspects of film making. He directed films throughout high school and has completed two in college. "Flower" is the second since attending Manhattanville. He has been accepted into numerous local film festivals and won awards from the New York State Library for their video competition as well as from Rockland Community College in the high school category of their TV/Video Festival. He is currently in post-production of his new untitled film.
"Flower" was an idea I had been playing around with for about a year before I decided to actually put it on paper. It's a character study on a man torn between love and deceit. However, his actions provide an interesting perspective of human behavior.
