One of my first memories of childhood is me trying to draw my favorite cartoon at the moment. Ever since I can remember, drawing has been my passion and becoming an animator was my dream. Hoping that some day I would be able to study animation, I took a more indirect path and I studied and graduated from Civil Engineering, where I worked as a project engineer for 6 years. Meanwhile, I was always developing my artistic abilities as a freelance artist, self-taught cartoonist, and photographer. I am part of the Chilean Graphic Humor Artists and my work has been published in media, books and featured in art exhibitions in Chile and abroad.
In 2013, although I was working as a civil engineer, I started taking classes after work to earn a diploma in 3D animation. Halfway through my course, I applied and won a partial scholarship for Vancouver Film School to study the career of my dreams, Classical Animation. Coincidentally, my participation in the engineering project was finished. I completed my 3D course and I moved to Vancouver, where I graduated with honors as a 2D Animator. At VFS I also completed my first two short films: Sublime and Watch Out.
