Go Home

Go Home is a stop-motion animated short film reflecting social issues, population aging and isolating, and family indifference.
It tells a touching story about a family. A little girl's family lived together with her grandma before she was 5 years old. Then, the family moved to the city, leaving the grandma alone at countryside and taking away her cat. Life comparison between the family and the grandma is awfully striking. The cat died one day and turned into a soul, staying with the girl. The soul was so intelligent that it felt something bad happened to the grandma and it tried to inform the girl, but it failed. Finally, the cat's soul flied to the dying grandma's house, and all kinds of childhood memory emerged. The soul transferred into the grown-up girl, and accompanied grandma spending her rest life happily. Movie ended with the sunset.
