NOW BOARDING
A comedy of errors based mostly on true facts which took place in the director's experiences at check in and boarding gates of airports around the world. The director examines the hilarious indignities of airplane travel as seen on a dog-centric airline with a German Shepherd as co-pilot and the surreal ending adds the final touch.

Director’s Biography
Teresa H. Mular
Dr. Teresa Mular was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was raised and educated there, completing her University studies and graduating as a Medical Doctor at age 23.
Parallel to that she studied piano and voice at the National Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires. As a young person she developed a lifelong passion for classical music and the arts.
She moved to New York, to further her training at Downstate Medical Center, State University of New York-Kings County Hospital, in Brooklyn.
She became an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology years later at the same institution and had a long career as a physician and teacher.
Currently she is President of the New York Gynecological Society (New York city).
Although geographically far from her native town, she continued to visit her family in Buenos Aires and remained in close contact with her beloved homeland throughout the years. She developed a strong interest in creative photography, which led to obtaining various awards at diverse Long Island, New York competitions.
She has been studying Italian in Florence since 2006 and it is there where she found the germinating seed for making a documentary about the land that witnessed her birth. She recently completed a four-part documentary that pays homage to the various artistic complexities and cultural life of Buenos Aires “ Volando en las Alas del Tiempo” (Flying on the Wings of Time).
Her Buenos Aires documentary “ Flying on the Wings of Time” was shown at the XXXIV International Women Film Festival to great acclaim in December of 2012 in Florence, Italy and also at the Huntington Cinema Arts Centre in April of 2012. The Argentinean Cultural Center showed it in June of the same year in Long Beach, New York. The same film received a Silver Award in the Short Film Category, awarded by the Oregon Film festival in November of 2012. It has been showcased at the Lucerne International Film Festival in November of 2013 and selected for screening at the Ridotto Series of Huntington, New York ( “ The Romantic Image “ presentation ) in November of 2013.
She has completed in 2013 another documentary entitled “ The Muse is the Mountain”, which deals with the life, struggles and achievements of a group of artisan women in the mountainous regions of Costa Rica. The background music for this film was recorded by Dr. Pablo Lavandera , Doctor of Music in Piano Performance, at State University of New York, Stony Brook , and Master of Music in Piano performance from the new England Conservatory, Boston, and Fulbright Scholar in the US 1998-2000. The film has been awarded several times: Platinum Award at the International Film and Photography Festival, in Jakarta, Indonesia – 2014-, and Gold Award , category feature film, at the Filmmakers of the Year 2014 Film Festival, Jakarta , Indonesia; Silver Award for Director of the same film at the same Filmmakers of the Year 2014 Film Festival, Jakarta. Selected also for the Depth of Field International Film Festival in April 2015 and at the Accolade Global Film Competition in March 2015.
With the characters depicted in this film I hope that people will begin to understand more deeply the complex relationships between airports, dogs and themselves. I think that after viewing this short, boarding at airports will no longer be experienced in the same way ever again .
