March 20, 2015: 20 years after the Manifesto of the World Movement "Dogma 95", Cinema Distribuzione proposes the version 2015 (remastered, re-made in more extreme form in compliance with the rules of the "Vow of Chastity" and reassembled) of the NEW " COSÍ X CASO " , the Ultimate OFFICIAL MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF DOGMA 95, feature film that closed the international movement of Lars Von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg and other "Dogma Brothers" ... at the least: The last DOGMA! .... The Story of the Film : "in the faded images of a reality that is not the most beautiful and colorful for anyone, everyone is looking for their own piece of happiness that the world can offer. Lucio, sweet and dreamy autistic boy, runs away and does not return to the Institute where his brother, Cristiano, let him regularly. The color and the curiosity of the roads are at some point to his eyes more attractive. Wandering the streets to look for its colors and thoughts, Lucio meets Flaviana that is desperately at a crossroads in his life. A friendship develops between the two that will change forever the lives of all".

Director Statement

On the occasion of 20 years of "Dogma 95", we want to present the Ultimate Film in the history of the Movement (“COSÌ X CASO-DOGMA 95”) in the Version 2015: re-made also fully updated in history, remastered and especially made in the assembly following in an even "more extreme" rules of Dogma 95. We re-propose the movie in a more pungent, "pure" and modern.
In this sense, although the rule number "4" Manifesto tells how the film should be "in color", on 2015 we presente the Ultimate Dogma Film in "black and white". In fact, we believe that the spirit of the "Vote Chastity" was in 1995 to make a film with the "color" of reality and without artifice, this was the meaning of the rule. If the Manifesto was written today, on 2015, we are confident that the rule number "4" would be to make and shoot a film exclusively in "black and white": the true color of the reality of today, as well as of our times, and only way (with the growth of the special effects, colors and artifices current movie) to bring the film to its original essence that is: to tell a story, real, true and pure ... well in "dogma" style, making use of the "vow of chastity" imposed by the Manifesto.
So therefore “Così x Caso”, in its old and especially in its new version, it´s yes the Ultimate Film in Dogma 95 (... the last Dogma), but in its 2015 version “Così x Caso is also a New Film: a new and final "dogma", rereading 20 years after the Manifesto all 10 rules of the Vow of Chastity compares to today.
So "“Così x Caso ", both in its old that especially new version, as Dogma, is a film that especially knows to be in 2015 even more poetic and raw in its realism (as well as topical), and in the end who wins in a reality without dreams that now we have created, seems to be precisely the protagonist, a young authistic guy, which "just a caress, one expiration of the wind to be happy, to dream and to look at the reality better than we do" ... as well as a Dogma Film does not need of tricks, effects or special colors to tell, with the return of "purity" of the cinema, the reality and our stories.
