Brother Goose - Lone Ranger (Official Video)

The story line follows the same pattern and chronological order as the lyrics of the song. The main idea is a guy (the subject of the song) who is singing nostalgically about a girl he fell in love with. It shows the story of his heart break as he is dumped via a text message, reflecting on the time they spent together and to drown his sorrows he heads to local bar. At the bar he meets 4 guys (Brother Goose) The band drink together, have fun and the 4 eventually leave, leaving behind the guy at the bar and inviting him to the studio to jam/ make music. The guy heads to the studio not knowing what to expect, the band meet, play and reach the climax of the song. A crowd run in and commence a massive multi coloured feather fight. In the end you realise the video actually begins at the end of the story but it fits chronologically. The guy is saved. Music has saved his broken heart!

Classic love story gone wrong, the twist of the unconventional characters, climbing into the main characters imagination, colours, feather fight.

Director Statement

Shooting the Music video for Brother Goose required the skill to tell a story in only a few minutes as well as visualizing the character of the band and a friendship of 5 great people.

For me shooting Music Video is the perfect mix of working in a conceptual way whilst being experimental, creative and spontaneous alongside working to an organized and planned schedule.

The advantage of shooting a low budged Music Video forces you to be more creative. Moreover, it gives you the possibility to cover different roles simultaneously such as "writing, directing, shooting and editing."
