DOUG LEWIS is an emerging filmmaker based in North Bay, Ontario. He has an avid interest in digital cinematography and editing. Doug shoots promotional videos and event coverage for the North Bay-based company 663 Cinematography.
Doug has directed and edited a documentary that was part of the series ‘The Music of Hard Rock’ that aired on TVO in February 2015. It is titled ‘Mike Charette and Stéphane Paquette: A Legacy of Mentorship’.
Doug’s student film ‘The Meek S.I.T.E.’ screened in 2 film festivals in 2015. It was the Official Selection of the All 4 Love Film Festival on Jan. 31, 2015 and the Just Film Awards on April 26, 2015.
Doug is Fall Arrest and CPR certified.
He’s currently enrolled in DIGITAL CINEMATOGRAPHY at CANADORE COLLEGE.
This film was produced with the desire to cross the bridge between snowboard videos and snowboard films. There are not enough fictional snowboard films being made, and too many non-fictional snowboard videos.
The setting in Redbridge ON that this film was shot in makes for a wonderful area to shoot a snowboard film.
