Pascale Pérard - graduating in 2015 at Royal Academy Fine Arts Antwerp
Nationality﹕ Flemish/Belgian
In 2010 Pascale got inspired by an unfinished masterpiece of contemporary art. She decided that very moment to make a movie about heritance, happiness and authenticity. Because the question raised﹕What are we prepared to give up in order to achieve our goals? Are ambitions only an illusion? Or are they a genuine drive towards life balance?
Pascale put aside her consulting job in marketing to go to film school.
Wrote the fiction story AG as a novel she published herself (434 pages).
Meanwhile studied film making, raised limited budget (5.000€) through a successful crowdfunding and obtained spontaneous support from professional Flemish actors and from + 25 companies for costumes/catering/settings/props/logistics/…
This project was supported by the Royal Academy for Fine Arts in Antwerp.
She thinks of raising a fund to make a professional feature film based on the novel AG Story of an Artist (USA copyright), meanwhile writing a second novel, and is raising a small fund for her second shortfilm.
Live, dream, act!
