The Accidental Angel (old version)
What if 18 year old Daniel finds out that he was born as a human angel?
Daniel is about to learn the truth about his childhood, and find the strength to grow back his wings. All but to realize he was predestined to save the world from a new world war, and to reveal some even darker truths about himself.
Daniel lives in a London suburb with his Mother. An outsider, has only one friend and has two obsessions – angels and Senka, a West-End actress and a national sweetheart. While Europe's major cities are torn apart daily by terrorist bombings, Daniel spends his days working at an antique bookstore and researching the subject of angles. Until one night when all will change as he finds himself the victim of a bombing.
During his short stay at the hospital Daniel finally finds proof that he was, in fact, born with angel wings. He confronts his Mother, and even though she denies it, other family lies and secrets start to emerge. Meanwhile, a surprisingly romantic affair between Daniel and Senka ensues.
The affair between the young Daniel and the famous actress intensifies, and that takes its toll on his other close relationships. Riona, Daniel's best friend, is consumed by jealousy. While Mr. Embers, Daniel's employer, seems to be more and more petrified. And even Daniel's nightmares become more troubling. When Daniel finally summons the courage and strength to grow his wings he will also learn the truth about Senka.
Now it's up to Daniel to stop Senka's dire plan, and to do so, he will have to sacrifice his love. Unfortunately, Daniel's sacrifice comes with a price. And he will learn that all is not as it seems.
Daniel's dramatic coming of age tiptoes on the brink of fantasy as he deals with love, family secrets and forging his own destiny.
