Director Biography - Kathy Drasky

I have always wanted to make movies, but somehow life got in the way. I worked as a writer and editor for many years across the varied disciplines of publishing, journalism, marketing and PR. This workload eventually led me to take a successful print and online business full-tilt into the 21st century, with KazzaDrask Media - a full-service digital media agency. A big part of that agency was digital photography and video. Soon I was producing video for clients. That gave me the confidence to make my own short film. That film, Jeanne & Mike: Original Art, was named "one of the top 250 independent documentaries of 2015" by the Spotlight Film Awards. I'm getting ready now to make another.
