A native Californian, Jeremy is a novelist, screenwriter, and director, and he works tirelessly to turn each of his scripts into features. With a strong, artistic background in writing, Jeremy specializes in screenplay writing and editing for ImageShade Films. He has also worked as a script consultant and has written a hard-boiled novel called "Dempsey City Times." He studied Film at Fullerton College before he directed and co-wrote his short film, “Dark Thinker," which was his directorial debut and has been selected to screen for Maine Deaf Film Festival. Vicious Allure is his second directed film. Jeremy has been bitten by the directing bug, and is currently hard at work directing his new web-series "Flies On The Wall," and hopes to contribute something exciting and new to the world of film-making.
Hearing or deaf, seeing or blind, mentally healthy or mentally-ill, no matter which impediment, there will always be some sort of barrier preventing others from understanding one's circumstance or situation. The most common barrier is one of communication. Despite misconceptions, the communication barrier is not just suffered by foreigners or out-of-town strangers, no, everyone has to live with it; this particular barrier will never stop existing for all of us. It can get frustrating to deal with this barrier; it is usually downright exhausting. Our efforts to overcome this barrier, through written, typed, signed, and various other gestures, make it worth the while to explore our potential relationships with each other in full, whether they be professional, romantic, or distant. When it all goes wrong, the romantic, yet misguided allure to set things right can turn vicious. Tread carefully.
