Kwun Tong

"Kwun Tong" is a documentary film about Kwun Tong Centre Redevelopment Project in Hong Kong. Which includes interviews with different stakeholders of the district: the only remaining letter writer in Hong Kong; "Wai Le Model Centre Limited" which sells and keeps over ten thousand set of models; funerary portrait photographer; local residents and a district councillors. The documentary tries to depict the past, present and future of Kwun Tong through different voices from the community.

Director Biography - Tsang Chi Hung

Tsang Chi Hung graduated from Applied and Media Art, PolyU Speed & Hong Kong Art School. He participated in several independent features and short films. He tended to focus on single issue, or social movement. “Kwun Tong” was the first documentary film, received Best Documentary Gold Award in The 7th Hong Kong Mobile Film Festival.
