Comrade Walks on Thin Ice

Inspired from an anthology of short memoirs written by Eduardo Galeano, titled Days and Nights of Love and War, this short film narrates an episode from the lonely life of a revolutionary who used to be a pivotal figure in the communist movement years ago. He receives a phone call from his radical past, in a voice he does not remember. He is asked to meet with the unknown voice but he refuses to comply. Yet, the conversation brings certain memories back to him and he grows curious and decides to go and meet the voice in person. The meeting turns out to be one that intensifies the mystery, rather than unraveling it.
