The London Film SchoolCountry: United Kingdom
Manfredi Mancuso is a writer, director and professional film critic. From 2010 to 2014, he has been the film columnist of the Italian Daily Tabloid Giornale di Sicilia.
In 2014, he graduated from the London Film School after a two-year MA course in Filmmaking. He is currently based in London where he works as independent director and producer.
Films are full of beautiful love stories, with birds chirping in the sky and catchy songs that suggest the lovers' passion.
Whoever has loved, at least once in their lives, knows that the reality is very different. Love must be cultivated every day so it doesn't fade or disappear.
Usually, second chances and happy endings only exist in the cinema. Especially in this world where love is sometimes a crash of two deep solitudes.
From the first draft of the story, I knew I had to film it.
I was curious to see what would happen, if two mismatched souls were put together. We gave them strong feelings for one another to see if in the cold metropolis there was still a place for a love story... And, above all, if they could find the courage to live it.
