Director Biography - Shaub Abdul Miah

My journey into TV and film started very early as the lense of the camera had a cathartic effect on me. It shaped my perspective and made me who I am today and fuelled my passion to further my career in the media industry.

I am a professional with experience and a enthusiastic can do and never quit attitude with passion and hunger to learn and expand at every turn. Excellent communication skills with cast and crew on all levels and being able to bring a concept to life from start to finish.

My passion lies with directing and I continue to write, direct, produce and edit my own projects, so that I can reach my goal which is to become a well established director/producer.

Director Statement

Making Death Do Us Apart was fun, it was a challenge as its my first film/short but for 2k it was a risk and the challenge however, it was worth it and the real plaudits goes to the cast and crew for their tireless effort on set and off it. We have generated a lot of interest from the likes of British and Hollywood stars such as Jason Flemyng and it has been accepted into Cannes Short film corner and selected for Calgary Horror Con, I Filmmaker International Film Festival, Intershort Online Film Festival, Fright Night Film fest and The International Filmmaker
Festival of World Cinema LONDON 2016. We are hopeful that Death Do Us Apart will get screened at a few more festivals and plan to turn it into a feature.
