3 days of January 29th
On January 29th I was put on a 3 day mental health hold after enduring the worst manic depressive episode I've ever experienced. The event was extremely traumatic yet I have no clear recollection of what happened as there was no security camera in the lobby of the building, and campus PD is not required to wear body cameras. The purpose of this film is to get AHEC to install at least one security camera in the lobby of the Comcast Media Center so that no one else has to try and piece together their experience of being held in police custody while suffering through a mental health crisis.

Chris Loya is Colorado born and raised. He attended the University of Colorado Denver to study filmmaking.
As someone who was raised under the stigma of mental illness, it was hard to come to terms with my diagnosis but this film represents my first steps in coming to terms with it, and what it means for my future.
