3 DAYS CLUB

Kitakyushu City Board of Education produced a short film “3DAYS CLUB” performed by current junior high school drama club students and teachers of the city. This ambitious film was shot on their own school. SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) has set as the watchword, it described the students how they shape their own futures affecting by each other through mysterious happenings at school.
In particular, the filmmaker emphasized student’s eye level featuring some comical scenes, portrayed their emotional growth and succeed to win the sympathy of audiences. The original scenario is the work of Akiko Ukai, also works for the city government. Planning and direction were made by Ikari Yoshihiko, appears from COLT CO., LTD, a filmmaking company of Kitakyushu.

Director Biography - Ikari Yoshihiko

Born 1962.

Studied at Visual Concept Planning Department, Osaka University of Arts.
Classmate of Hideaki Anno, creator of Neon Genesis Evangelion, who used the surname Ikari for his main character, Shinji Ikari.
After graduation, worked in advertising in Kitakyushu City.
Currently based in Kitakyushu, directing short films, documentaries, promotion videos and various other genres.
