Director Biography - Haroon Habib

Haroon is young independent filmmaker from a small town of Pakistan. He did his masters from well-known art School (National College of Arts) and now doing M.Phil. in Multimedia Arts. He wants to learn more and make films that tells the stories to the world.

Director Statement

I am enamored with all aspects of film making and enjoy the process of bringing an idea to life. I have made documentary films, music videos, experimental short films and live action short films. I love to make films which have aspects of Love, Motivation, journey, emotions and culture. Mostly I write the stories and screenplay by sharing my own experiences of life. My last Film (Land of the Fireflies) had been screened at many film festivals including 17th Indian children film festival and also won lots of international and national awards. I feel excited film reached many audiences and shared a story they may not have known before. I feel passionate for film and the world I live in.
