Prince N. Joe's inspirational journey from the hard life and streets of Liberia and Ivory Coast. Born into poverty and and survived 14 years of civil war from Liberia. He escapes with his family and went to Ivory Coast as a Refugee and survived another civil war. He got an opportunity to travel to Norway with his three sisters through the United Nations with the help of the Norwegians government from Ghana.
During his academy year at Noroff, he founded New Visionsgate Film Production company and started promoting it among his friends and families both at school and outside of school. After his graduation from Noroff 2014, he registered New Visionsgate Film Production company at Brønnøysund to give the company the legal right to enter into Film Production.
He went through the Norwegian language program and continue at the high school in Norway where he achieved his high school diploma, then he chose to pursue a college degree in filmmaking as a Producer at Noroff Film and TV Production in Oslo. Prince has worked on some great student film projects which have been sent out to some film festivals in Norway and international. In 2013 he also collaborated with Antirasistisk Senter in Oslo to shoot a commercial which he wrote and Directed and it was also aired on Norwegain TV2. Prince fought from a young age to find the strength, faith and perseverance that would later form the foundation of New Visionsgate Film.
It was a simple piece of advice from his Mother and Father that set Prince career in filmmaking. Encouraged to keep a diary of his daily thoughts and experiences, he began writing a series of letters to himself, friends and family. The letters, full of pain and in time, forgiveness of what he has been through and see other people been through and still going through.
I believe in story that matters to people, something that is related to people out there and passion is one great force that unleashes creativity.
