La Inocencia del Culpable (English title: A Tangled Web)

JP Thomas is a graduate of the New York University TSOA Film School. Returning home, he worked on commercials in Dallas for several years. By that time he had grown quite fond of eating daily and took any job to pay the bills. After receiving a grant from the Irving Community Television Network, Thomas, working with friend Ed Bird, directed a made-for-cable short film, "Five-Finger Discount". The movie went on to be nominated for a Cable Ace Award. After surviving some industrial video production, JP started work on "A Tangled Web". It was to be his feature-length directorial debut. “We wanted something with the guilty fun of a telenovela,” said Thomas, “and though it took us -ahem- longer than we ever imagined, I think we actually have a fun picture. So here’s to a great cast and crew!” JP lives and works in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife, Lily, and son, Juan.
