OFF is an Experimental Horror Short Film which emphasis on MATTER OVER MIND. The story is about a paranormal lift(s) splitting the minds of it's passenger with the aid of their worst memories thereby consuming them.

For most of the cases it is MIND OVER MATTER , but sometimes it may be the MATTER that initiates and splits the MIND. And in this case the MATTER being paranormal LIFTs.

Director Biography - S G A Thomas (a.k.a. Ganesh M)

Ganesh.M (known by his screen name S G A Thomas) was born on 4 Jan 1995 to R.Mohanraj and S.Valarmathy in Surandai, Tamilnadu, India. After completing Higher Secondary Education in Tirunelveli, he pursued B.Tech in Shiv Nadar University, where he made his debut short film "Tamil Phobia"(2013), a social awareness drama.

Driven by its positive responses , he quickly collaborated with his close school friend MuthuKumar and wrote his first psychological short "noir"(2014). The film had positive responses and was the first successful venture of the duo, their previous ventures were dropped during production.

S G A Thomas made "Life is Meaningful"(2014), an ultra short film of ten seconds for 9point88.com short film challenge. The film was based on his school friend Jeya Priya's poem. The film marked S G A Thomas handling the cinematography and his first venture into background scoring with his college friend Vignesh.N.

S G A Thomas released his first Experimental horror "OFF" on September 5,2014. He co-wrote the film along with his college mates Indhu Kanth and Vignesh.N. He also scored the background which was mixed by Vignesh. OFF had a lukewarm response. He considers OFF as his best short till date where so much of learning were possible for him.

His upcoming films would be psychological drama "Vetridam" written by his college friend Hareesh Babu with additional rewrites from S G A Thomas and Indhu Kanth and "Love Paradox", his first romance venture.
