A Sand Grain's Dream

A Sand Grain's Dream is a universal story that reflects on the unparalleled theme of dreams. The film pays homage to the classic era of silent filmmaking with a poetic narrative that takes its audience on an unprecedented journey. It is an allegorical visual essay that tells its story through the synergy of its imagery and score. A young girl, the lead of the film, is representative of a physically manifested sand grain. She is the vehicle of which the dream of a sand grain is granted; an escape of its desert environment and overwhelming heat of the sun. The wish comes true when the young girl, while traveling along the desert with her counterparts, faints into a dream that transports her on a journey of possibilities outside of the desert. Everywhere she goes she experiences a curious wonderment in the air, feeling some sort of connection to the places she arrives at. A Sand Grain’s Dream delivers a captivating and suspenseful spectacle worth a ride along.
