Kris and Kurtis Theorin, a pair of young film making brothers from Pennsylvania, have been making films together since they were 10 years old. Their films include a series of stop motion animated shorts of which several, including The Call of Farqunglu, played at festivals around the country. Their live action short 'Retreat' recently played at HollyShorts 2014. They really need to get out of the house more often.
Gumball looks at what a place can mean to different people. We also wanted to see how much of a story we could relate to an audience with just a character, a setting and no dialog.
