Alien Communications (Short Film)

Sometimes communicating with the opposite sex can be as alien as communicating with well... an alien. This slightly sci-fi short film is a touching coming of age story that the awkward in all of us can relate to. Winner, Best Student Film at the Maryland International and Clean Short Film Festivals. Winner, Best Youth Film at FilmQuest, Official selection of STIFF, the Taos Shortz Film Festival, New Hope Film Festival, NFFTY, Norwich Film Festival, Incredifest, FilmQuest, Boston Science Fiction Film Festival and the Borrego Springs Film Festival.

Director Statement

I find it humorous when people ignore extraordinary issues to focus on ordinary ones. This movie is about communication and how it can be an awkward and confusing struggle on both an interpersonal and interstellar level.
