FOLLOW HER PROCRASTINATION AS SHE TRIES TO LEAVE THE HOUSE BUT INSTEAD ALLOWS HERSELF TO BE DISTRACTED BY ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. THE DISTRACTIONS BECOME INCREASINGLY COMICAL AS SHE BECOMES MORE AND MORE DISTRACTED AND WE REALIZE THAT SHE DOES NOT TRULY WANT TO GO TO THE POOL AT ALL. HER DECISION TO GO IS AN OBLIGATION THAT SHE TRIES TO AVOID AND THE SITUATION

Rosa Salomé Bursztein (born 9 May 1989) is a French actress, comedian, writer and filmmaker who has performed in film, television and theatre. She graduated from the University La Sorbonne Nouvelle and continued her classical acting training at L’Ecole du Studio d'Asnières and La Classe Libre du Cours Florent in Paris.
Career
Theatre
Since 2012, Rosa Bursztein has had important roles in four plays at the Théâtre de l’Atelier, Théâtre de l’Odéon-Théâtre de l’Europe, Cartoucherie-Ateliers de Paris Carolyn Carlson, Théâtre La Boussole, Ciné 13 Théâtre and Théâtre Le Bout.
In 2012, she played Cécile de Volanges in « Les Liaisons Dangereuses », written by Christopher Hampton and directed by John Malkovich at Le Théâtre de l’Atelier.
She acted in Peter Stein’s Prix Martin, a witty Labiche play from the early twenties. Her stage partners were, among others, Jacques Weber and Laurent Stocker (from Comédie Française).
In 2013, she joined the company « Les Soirées Plaisantes » and began performing in a comedy show based on improvisations, « La Vie Rêvée des Profs ».
More recently, she was seen in a production for Le Festival d’Automne à Paris, directed by Georges Lavaudant : « Archipel Marie Ndiaye, Paroles d’Acteurs – Talents Cannes Adami 2014 ».
Televison
In 2006, Rosa Bursztein portrayed protagonist Lea in the pilote « Lea and Matt » for the Disney Chanel.
In 2008, she played a lead character in France 4’s TV-SHOW, « Mon Père Dort Au Grenier » directed by Philippe Berenger.
In 2011 , she appeared in two qualitie TV DRAMAS for France 3 : « Les Affaires sont les Affaires » directed by Philippe Berenger, with Christian Clavier and « La Baie d’Alger » directed by Merzouac Allouache with Catherine Jacob.
Film
In October 2013, Rosa acted in Stephen Frears biopic of Lance Armstrong, « Untitled Cycling Project ». The film is based on Walsh’s book « Seven Deadly Sins » and stars Ben Foster as Armstrong and Chris O’Dowd as journalist David Walsh.
A short time after, in November 2013, Rosa played the lead female role in François Marthouret first feature film, « Dimanche 4 Janvier », produced by Crescendo Films. The film is an adaptation of Lionel Trouillot’s « Bicentenaire ».
Artistic Company, « Les Cœurs Insolents »
In 2009, Rosa Bursztein co-founded the company, « Les Cœurs Insolents » with fellow actor, Johann Cuny. They co-directed a play, « La Ravissante Ronde » by Werner Schwab for l’Amphithéâtre de Censier-Paris III.
In 2014, she wrote and directed her first short movie, « La Piscine » playing the main character, Rebecca, herself.
Rosa Bursztein is now developing several written projects.
