Born in Kuwait, Rami lived in Amman for most of his life except for three years that he spent in Russia studying the Russian language. Before RSICA he was working as a fashion editor, acting in documentaries, and appearing in commercials. He also made some video art and some short documentaries. Rami first knew he wanted to go in to film through many different things that inspired him; “My little video camera plus I used to work with people in media with my work as a fashion editor. Shooting with models and setting up themes and location models posing at the camera made me feel that people could be more interesting in acting or in videos…plus life outside on the street has many stories to tell”. In five years Rami sees himself making big movies all around the world, and changing the facts of the world.
