SWINE
With civilization in ruins, man called upon his primal instincts to survive. Hunters and scavengers alike made their way in this savage land.
But when the Northern Warlords united, skulls cracked and spirits broke, as they conquered everything in their path.
Now, deep in the Outlands, a partisan movement, known as Vox Populi, stands their ground against an enemy bred for battle.

A professional storyteller since 2005, Daniel has created dozens of properties for both film and comics. His passion lies in genre fiction, where he’s free to write about swordfights, gunfights, fistfights, jetpacks, robots, ray-guns, rugged men and beautiful women, rogues, scoundrels, bounty hunters, vikings, conquistadors, samurai, amazons, cowboys, detectives, aviators and above all, adventure.
Swine was an opportunity to explore my love of human behavior and 60's cinema. As a college counselor with a Masters of Science in Educational Counseling, psychological motivation often comes into play when working through the decision-making process. Choices frequently hinge on whether or not basic needs are being met. Strip away one's home, access to healthcare, or food supply, and our survival becomes paramount, often overshadowing civilized pursuits, such art and literature.
And yet, even in the face of such dire straights, our connection as social creatures allows light to shine in even the darkest places. Time and time again there are examples of acts of courage and charity even in the face of adversity.
It is in the post-apocalyptic genre that I found the landscape necessary to discuss the intimate connection between survival and motivation.
