I wanted to capture the vibrant and diverse essence of Latino cinema through my illustrations and color choices. Using Adobe Illustrator allowed me to create crisp and clean graphics that perfectly complemented the theme of the film festival. One of the main illustrations features a girl dancing in a dress that resemble a movie reel board in a dynamic composition. In the background, the filmstrip winds its way through the composition to create a sense of movement and energy, symbolizing the lively atmosphere of a festival. In terms of color palette, I opted for bold and vibrant hues that reflect the exuberance of festivals. Splashes of bright yellows, oranges, pinks, and red will dominate the scene, creating a visually stimulating experience for viewer.
