305 & HAVANA INTERNATIONAL IMPROV FEST

305 HAV INTERNATIONAL IMPROV FEST is a festival that promotes the art of improvisation in performance and film. Taking place during two consecutive weeks in Miami and Havana, the 305 & Havana International Improv Fest presents master classes by international artists, curated screenings and performances that deepen into the art of improvisation, bringing together performing artists, filmmakers and audiences across two cities. Partnering venues includes the Miami-Dade County Auditorium On.Stage Black Box Theatre (Miami, Florida) and Fábrica de Arte Cubano (Havana, Cuba).

In the life of a stage or creative space, improvisation is considered an instrument for exploration and a tool for expanding creative possibilities. Open-ended investigation into the art of improvisation in different artistic expressions has become a tool that has no limits in the search for an authentic language through movement or ideas.

I can't say enough about this festival and the way its staff treats filmmakers and artists. The workshops and film screenings are outstanding in both cities (Miami and La Habana) I just hope there were more festivals like this!

We are thrilled to have a Film Festival in Miami that supports a wide range of expressions. The festival is programmed with seminars and workshops taught by innovative creators. We met kind people, learned a bunch, saw inspiring films and had a great time, Thank you!

I participated in the Havana portion of this year's festival and it was amazing! The festival is very well organized and is an incredible opportunity to experience a new country while presenting your work to an extremely diverse audience. The audience that came to the screenings was truly international.
