Jimy Jameson Hollywood (Miskolc, 26th of March 1980) filmdirector, director of advertisings, spots, videoclips, screenwriter. His work is characterized by clarity and his shooting style by dynamism with an excellent cooperation with the clients, with his crew and with the performers. He submits themes with strong emotional charge in his video clips. He often uses dramatic elements married to a surreal imagery giving an American movie atmosphere to the viewers. He works together with many famous Hungarian and recently international musicians and talent too. He is currently working alongside the video clips and commercials on feature films. Won several Hungarian and international awards.
With this film I wanted to respectfully pay tribute to a person, who came to America with 25 dollars in his pocket, with his perseverance he became one of the most successful man at his age. Nobody had made a film about this Hungarian-born business man yet, Adolph Zukor founder of Paramount Pictures, although because of his resolve the World has to thank the permeation feature-length films. The basic idea, which swirled inside of my head during the birth of film is what was going on in the head of the person who was only his neighbor and not World savior incidence which happened around the main character. I wanted to show Adolph Zukor via his neighbor, whom life is to overgrow to watch the action of a person, who brought the change to the World. Paolo's unopened flat and his degradation's drama is strong contrast against the pushing and ready to act neighbor. I hoped they cannot only feel the constant on conversations but in dramaturgy too. Beside pictures and symbols, the sound game, which depicts what happened outside of the room, is as important as anything else in this film. For me the 25 DOLLARS is a symbol of both success and failure, and they can show at the same time.
