A family was preparing for the birthday of a 9-year-old girl who, on her birthday, with her mother, were blowing up balloons and decorating the house, and at midnight, when they were having fun, an earthquake took place and everyone was stuck under the rubble and the only one who survived was the little girl.

Director Biography - Meysam Mohammadkhani

Meysam Mohammadkhani (writer and director) was born in Tehran in 1991. He graduated in mechanical engineering.
At first, he entered the cinema as an assistant director while he was a student. After a few years, he was able to make his first film.

Director Statement

The incident that made me choose this story was the oppressed people of Kermanshah, one of the cities of my country, Iran, which was destroyed by an earthquake on a winter night. Moreover, on the TV news, I heard about a family that lost their lives on the night of their daughter's birthday, and upon my experience, I tried to bring hope to the story.
