Ricardo Perez and Brais Revalderia have been working together for over 10 years, pursuing new opportunities that come their way. As a result they founded CINEXIN Studios, a production company that seeks to bridge the gap between Spain and the United States, connecting and enriching the two cultures. This Action/Sci-Fi short has a duration of approximately 10 minutes and will be presented in a private screening at the Maya Deren Theater in the Anthology Film Archives of New York on April 16th.
Ricardo Perez’s screenplay as well as his interest in shooting it in New York City led Brais Revalderia to embark on the project as he was a second year student of the New York Film Academy master’s program in Filmmaking where he presented the 237NP trailer as his thesis. In addition to the professional experience of both directors, this project has at its disposal the participation of Spanish journalist and news anchor, Pedro Piqueras as well as a cast of first class actors such as Kika Magalhaes, recently deemed by Rolling Stone to be top sensation of the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
Part of the funding for this film comes from the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, where a great deal of followers have offered their support so that Ricardo and Brais could make this project a reality.

237NP it´s a SCI-FI movie, related to so many aspects of human mind and society, it shows the fear of humanity to everything that is unknown, the universe, the possibility of the existence of life out there, the ambition of governments from the first world deciding about human people lives from the 3rd world and underdeveloped countries.
The opportunity of having a second chance, Maxx is looking how his life falls apart, and knowing Bicho will give him a chance to redeem about past errors.
It´s also a way to show that sometimes changing you life in a drastic way is good, people has to make a choice and give a chance to change.
