Tiago Mesquita is an award-winning Director, Cinematographer, Photographer and Producer with over Twenty years of filming & photography in Europe, USA, with a rich experience across the globe.
Considered a multi-talented, multi skilled filmmaker with a solid technical and artistic background.
He strives to give voice to people and to stories worth being told, believing in making a difference through the art of filmmaking.
Tiago worked with numerous Oscar winning actors or nominees such as John Malkovich, Ryan Gosling , Javier Barden (“No country for old man”), Alan Arkin, Bruce Dern, James Earl Jones, among many others.
He is the winning Director of “Cinequest”, the feature film directing competition.
Graduating with honors from the Los Angeles Film School on a scholarship from the his national Ministry of Culture, he later taught film directing and cinematography.
Apart from his film training, he also has a Law degree, the music conservatory (piano and guitar) and over 20 years of regular martial arts training, on a variety of fighting styles and combat systems.
