“2020’s Got A Ring To It”

"If you can't see where you are, how can you see where you're going?"

Al Kryszak is a composer, guitarist & filmmaker. This song "2020's Got A Ring To It", is a first track from the upcoming album "Unpleasant Trees & Murmur Rations", on the FilmTrax Label. This song was written on January 5th, 2021, when the outgoing president of the United States triggered an insurrection aimed at preventing the certification of Joe Biden as the duly elected president. The former president's claim was a rigged election, though he did not wish a recount of Republicans who won in the contested states, only a turnover of the Democrats who won. This stance was rejected in over 50 courts in the nation, before thousands of the outgoing president's followers mounted an invasion of the U.S. Capitol Building, resulting in 6 deaths, including 2 police officers, & dozens of police seriously injured.

The U.S. Senators who supported the coup & refuse to condemn it, are still in office. The news footage in this video displays 2 completely different responses to protests: one response to Black Lives Matter, (the Ieshia Evans arrest) & a separate response to white supremacist rioters, who breached the center of government armed with flagpoles, mace & a few weapons.
