In the distant future, books are banned and ordered to be burned: so-called firemen are charged with this responsibility. Guy Montag is one of them: he goes about his work without questioning motives, believing he is helping out with the end of seeking knowledge. All this changes when he meets another person who makes him challenge his actions and convictions.

Writer Biography - Andy Farish

My name is Andy Farish and I was born on August 14, 1999. I grew up in Prattville, Alabama and graduated Prattville High School in 2018. I did both cheerleading and band in high school. I was the mascot for UNA for 2 years. I attended the University of North Alabama as a Cinematic Arts major from 2018 to 2020 until taking a semester off to go to Basic Military Training for the Alabama Air National Guard. I transferred to the University of Alabama in 2021 and received my Bachelor's Degree in Creative Media in 2022.

Writer Statement

I made a film adaptation of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 as my first ever movie while attending Prattville High School and I'm submitting that same exact screenplay that I wrote for the film. I would love to have my screenplay accepted at any film festival as it would really help with my career.
