TheAudienceAwards.com is currently accepting entries for short anime films and videos that 45 minutes or under in length. Filmmakers from around the world are invited to submit to the Audience Awards 2016 Anime Short Film and Video Contest for The Audience Awards online short film contest that runs April 26th - May 2nd, 2016. The film with the most votes wins $300 and all of the filmmakers who compete gain invaluable exposure including press and social media engagement.

If selected, you will need to upload your film to our site for the contest and will compete for audience votes.

1st Place Jury Award: $150 Site Credit

2nd Place Jury Award: $100 Site Credit

1st Place Audience Award: $300

2nd Place Audience Award: $60 Site Credit

3rd Place Audience Award: $30 Site Credit

Any film 45 minutes and under is eligible for this film and video contest.

You must have the authority to submit the film for our consideration.

Your film will be viewable to the general public for voting purposes.

You must have obtained all the necessary rights (including music rights), consents, authorizations and licenses covering the film. There must not be pending or anticipated litigation regarding the film.

The films begin competing 8:00 am MT on the above date. The films with the most votes at 8:00 pm MT on the above date win the stated prize.

The Audience Awards will send the payment via Paypal within 30 days of the video contest ending to the email address provided during site registration.

Payment is due in full at time of registration and there are no refunds.

Please read all rules and terms before submitting your film.

The film must not include hate speech, excessive violence, slanderous or libelous claims, or any other actionable offenses.

The audience can vote everyday for the films they like once a day during the film and video contest dates.

The film must not (i) infringe any rights of publicity or privacy, moral rights or IP rights, including any music-related rights, (ii) be defamatory or indecent, and (iii) violate any applicable laws.

On Voting: Each account login may only be used by one person - a single login shared by multiple people is not permitted.You must be a human. Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted. One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.You may not vote for someone else. If you are caught cheating and you have a film in a film and video contest, your film will be deleted from the contest and will not be eligible to receive the prize.
