1961
A war has been going on in the 2 regions of Cameroon formerly known as Southern Cameroons since 2016, because of a historical problem that went unsolved since 1961 when 2 countries, La Republique du Cameroun and the Southern Cameroons agreed to enter a federal mode of government. Today the federal state status has disappeared, and the country went back to the original name of one of the parties: la Republique du Cameroun, whipping out of the map the Southern Cameroons. The anger is still present among the youth.
