1950 U.S. - China War
This documentary delves into the history of the Korean War – its beginning, the process of development, and the ceasefire agreement from the global viewpoint - and focuses especially on the role of the US and China, the main two parties of the War.
The documentary does not forget that the Korean War was a civil in its roots. Yet it shows that the war was escalated to the international conflict particularly when the then superpowers intervened. The USSR, China, and the US having the support of the United Nations took part, and the Korean War was evolved as the first international warfare after WW2.

I have participated in the production of 12 episode documentary <Korean War> in 2000, KBS special project comprised to 10 episodes of documentary in 2010, and the 70th anniversay of Korean War project <1950 the U.S.-China War> in 2020,
Personally, this documentary is the culmination of my 20 years experience of producing documentaries on the Korean War. It was an attempt to look at our history of the Korean War from the perspective that it is the conflict between the US and China in order to assess the war objectively that still remains one of the most influential event that shaped the geopolitics of the Koraen peninsula.
